汉娜（凯莉·霍克 Kali Hawk 饰）是一名单纯善良的女大学生，一直以来过着平凡而又平静的生活。某日，在阴差阳错之下，汉娜肩负起了一宗采访工作，她所要采访的对象，是名为格雷（马龙·韦恩斯 Marlon Wayans 饰）的企业家，年仅二十七岁的他已经站在了事业的最顶峰，是众人目光和赞美的焦点。 实际上，格雷拥有一段十分灰暗的过去，受到童年时代阴影的影响，格雷在恋爱上有着扭曲的认识和癖好，沉迷于调教游戏中无法自拔，享受着身为“主人”的快感。天真直率的汉娜激起了格雷征服的欲望，相互吸引的两人签订了“主仆协议”，而初尝禁果的汉娜亦发现自己在欲望的漩涡之中越陷越深。
