新加坡房价一直升高，许多屋主就因为集体出售给地产开发商，而一夜间成为了百万富翁。可是，并不是每一个人都会被金钱诱惑…
『美好苑』这个老公寓已具有35年的屋龄，有着居民们的美好回忆。一名老医生是这里的老村长，居民们无论是身体或心理上的疑难杂症，都会向他寻求援助。他希望代代的居民们可以继续在『美好苑』住下去。由于新加坡的物价昂贵，一对老夫妇为了把房子留给经济能力有限的儿子，而坚持反对出售房子。一名忠心耿耿的丈夫为了挽救婚姻，不惜一切代价，就为了反对集体出售，以保住他们的爱巢，保存他们最美好的回忆。
为了保存『美好苑』，这些居民们便与地产开发商以及支持集体出售的居民对抗。他们是否能守护家园，留住美好的回忆呢？
