守山人后裔林辰，因一张神秘照片成为富商千金徐佩瑜的进山向导。徐佩瑜被持续一年的诡异梦魇纠缠——没有五官的背影，嘶喊着回去的蛇头，唯有铜钹山的神药能救她性命。而林辰执意同行，是为揭开曾祖父葬身深山的秘密，他始终怀疑，眼前这位徐家长孙女的家族，与祖辈失踪之谜有着千丝万缕的联系。进山之路杀机四伏，随行的心理医生张圭昊关怀备至却暗藏心机，道士项云剑神秘警告来者不善，罗盘转动间似有命运齿轮咬合。当徐佩瑜在绝境中窥见梦魇真相，林辰也发现曾祖父竟是为守护国宝而死。
