《不存在的女儿》剧情简介
故事开始在一个突降大雪的夜晚，十月怀胎的Nora（格瑞辰·摩尔 Gretchen Mol 饰）肚子作动，身为医生的丈夫David（德蒙特·莫罗尼 Dermot Mulroney 饰）决定送她去自己的诊所，同时打电话给护士Gil（艾米丽·沃森 Emily Watson 饰）让他赶紧去诊所准备。
Nora诞下一对龙凤胎，然而David一眼便看出女儿患有唐氏症，想起自己12岁的妹妹便是死于唐氏症的折磨下，而且家母终身未能再展露笑容。为了避免悲剧的发生，David当机立断让Gil把小女儿送走，只对Nora说女儿一出生便夭折了。
这一个决定，改变了三个人的命运。
