《遗失与美好》剧情简介
这部纪录片以牧羊人托马索•赛斯特隆的出场开始，他生活在意大利南部的圣塔姆马罗，自发地守卫着业已被遗弃多年的卡尔迪特略宫殿——十八世纪波旁皇族居住的宫邸。多年来，尽管政府无视、黑手党恐吓，他仍然坚持自行出资，坚守着宫殿，期望有朝一日它能重现辉煌。一日，他在路边拾得一头小公牛，命名为萨奇亚庞，从此悉心照料小牛。\r某天晚上，托马索心脏病突发身亡。感恩于他的贡献，他被大家称之为卡尔迪特略天使，宫殿此后也得到了政府的重视。影片视角则转到了小公牛萨奇亚庞身上。托马索死后，萨奇亚庞面临屠宰的命运，因为当地人普遍认为公牛没有任何价值。普尔奇内拉，传言中能够沟通生者与死者的人，接管了萨奇亚庞，并带它去往安全的地方。普尔奇内拉能够听萨奇亚庞说话，一人一牛在旅途之中感情愈发深厚。终于，普尔奇内拉为萨奇亚庞找到了新主人，并安心离去，岂料新主人把萨奇亚庞送至周边一处牧场，期望养肥之后与牧场主人一同吃掉。一段时间后，普尔奇内拉脱下面具，即放弃了通灵能力，回来看望萨奇亚庞。得知这一消息后，他勃然大怒，试图与萨奇亚庞沟通并带走它，但他已失去与牛对话的能力，萨奇亚庞亦不愿离开，等待它的只有惨遭屠宰的命运。
